Nearly 35 years after her iconic romantic comedy "When Harry Met Sally" premiered, Meg Ryan is dishing about her son's reaction to visiting the location of that famous Katz's Deli scene.

"It's funny, my son just called me this morning and he's in New York staying at a hotel that's right across the street from Katz's Deli," Ryan told legendary comedian and actress Carol Burnett for Interview Magazine ahead of the SAG-AFTRA strike. "My daughter was here and everybody was on speaker, and they were like, 'Mom, this is a very unique embarrassment.'"

"He said, 'You know you can go into that deli and there's an arrow pointing down to the table where you shot that scene,'" she continued. "I wonder if it's the right one."

Ryan, who is also known for her roles in several other iconic romantic comedies, including "You've Got Mail" and "Sleepless in Seattle," cemented her place in rom-com history by prompting the now-famous line "I'll have what she's having" during a scene in "When Harry Met Sally" that was filmed at the famed Katz's Deli in New York City.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Ryan will return to the big screen for another rom-com, "What Happens Later," alongside David Duchovny. The pair play ex-lovers snowed in at the airport, reminiscing about their lives together and the decades since their split.

The actress also co-wrote and directed the film.

"I hadn't done a role in a really long time, but it was fun with David," said Ryan, 61. "A lot of it was done in two shots. I'm proud of that."

"Truly, the easiest part was acting in it," Ryan expressed. "I want to direct again just so I can sit in the chair, because I'm sure there's a lot of things I missed."

Ryan said she never "really knew" Duchovny personally before making the movie, but got to know him during the pandemic.

"We got to know each other over these Zoom calls and some of those conversations found their way into the script, too," she said.

"What Happens Later" arrives in theaters on Oct. 13.
