How Millie Bobby Brown made the most of quarantine with driver's license and 'Friends'
Award-winning actress Millie Bobby Brown has spent some time during the pandemic like any other teenager, driving with her new license and binge-watching "Friends."
"I actually drove here this morning. I feel very much like an adult," she told "Good Morning America" on Monday. "I wanted my license all through quarantine and then finally I got like a COVID driving test, which was really exciting."
Brown said the instructor stood outside the car at a social distance and told her what to do and she passed. "I was very proud of myself," she said with a big smile.
Other than getting behind the wheel of a car and feeling like an adult, the "Enola Holmes" star explained that even on the set of the upcoming Netflix film she was reminded of her youth.
"It's very hard to keep a straight face," she said of working alongside Sam Claflin and Henry Cavill, who play her two brothers. "I carry on the laughter and have to take myself off the set, so that's how I know I'm still 16. I crack up at every little thing -- they crack me up."
The "Stranger Things" star said that while production is on hold for the hit series, she has been binging another show while she's been home during the pandemic.
"In this time it can be great to watch the news, it keeps you educated and knowledgeable on what's going on, but it can be very scary as well. I think 'Friends' is a very lighthearted show that makes me laugh," she said.
She recently drew inspiration from the hit show for a shoot with W Magazine and recreated one of Rachel Green's iconic sweater and plaid skirt looks, but the actress revealed she's not her favorite character in the cast.
"I can't get enough of Ross Geller," Brown said.
"Enola Holmes" streams exclusively on Netflix on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
