Nick Carter and wife Lauren Kitt reveal first photos of newborn daughter, Saoirse Reign
Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter and his wife Lauren Kitt are sharing photos of their newborn daughter, Saoirse Reign Carter.
The singer posted a photo on Wednesday of Lauren holding their baby girl, who they welcomed on Oct. 2. He is kissing Lauren in the heartwarming snap.
Carter included an emotional note about his admiration for his wife's strength in the post.
"For 2 years I watched you endure some of the hardest things a husband could ever witness," he wrote. "Going through the ups and downs of pregnancy all in the hopes that just maybe, with a little help from up above, we would get to this point."
"I’ll never forget the moment You asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I said nothing," he continued. "But deep down inside I knew what I really wanted. So on January 28th 2019 when I walked out of that bathroom with that positive test I already knew that Saoirse was coming back to us."
He went on, "I just want to thank you for giving me the Life, Love and family that I always wanted. You are a true Warrior and I love you."
The Carters also shared photos with Us Weekly, cradling Saoirse as she snuggled in a cozy brown blanket.
Three days ago, the signer shared a snap holding Saoirse’s tiny hand and captioned it, “Daddy’s little girl.”
Carter first announced Lauren’s pregnancy in April, eight months after she suffered a miscarriage.
The couple also has a 3-year-old son Odin.
