Nicole Kidman celebrates 59th birthday as Sandra Bullock shares sweet tribute
Nicole Kidman is celebrating her 59th birthday.
The Oscar-winning actress marked the occasion on Saturday, June 20, by sharing a photo of herself on Instagram along with a brief message to fans.
"Another trip around the sun ☀️💛 Thank you for all the birthday love xx #SummerSolsticeBaby," she wrote.
The birthday post quickly drew thousands of likes and well-wishes from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom took to the comments section to celebrate the actress and producer.
"Happy birthday to the queen!" Natalie Portman commented, while Mariska Hargitay wrote, "Happy happy birthday nic."
Kidman's "Practical Magic 2" co-star Sandra Bullock, also posted a video to Instagram in honor of her friend. Bullock, who recently joined Instagram ahead of the highly anticipated sequel's release, shared a tribute of her own for the birthday star.
Bullock's post included the caption: "Happy birthday to my witchy sister. Call it magic when I’m next to you 🪄🩷."
The birthday celebration comes during a busy year for both actresses. Kidman and Bullock reunited publicly earlier this spring while promoting "Practical Magic 2," the long-awaited sequel to the 1998 cult classic "Practical Magic."
The "Practical Magic" sequel will arrive Sept. 18, 2026 and marks the pair's return as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens nearly three decades after the original movie debuted.
Kidman, who was born on June 20, 1967, has enjoyed a decades-long career spanning film and television, earning an Academy Award, multiple Golden Globe Awards and Emmy Awards along the way.
