With salons and barber shops closed due to COVID-19, people are finding creative solutions to tame their hair that has gone without professional intervention.

The "Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev showed off her hairdressing chops on Thursday when she gave Olympic snowboarder Shaun White a haircut.

Dobrev, 31, posted the hilarious before-and-after set featuring herself brandishing a pair of metal scissors as a terrified White stares at her. His long red hair is swept up into an unruly mess, showing that it was in desperate need of a quarantine cut.

The second photo in the series is a boomerang of the aftermath, where the actress throws on a pair of shades and plays with a large ball of red hair in her hands. It appears she successfully tamed the mop atop the 33-year-old professional snowboarder's head.

"Adding to resume: hairdresser," the actress boasted in the caption.

Her handiwork earned the praise of American dancer Julianne Hough, who raved in the comments "Crushed it," along with several fire emojis. Dobrev also received kudos from several celebrity hairdressers, such as Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri.

White confirmed that he tried to seek professional help to tame his locks, but was forced to rely on Dobrev for assistance. "My hairstylist said he wouldn’t, so she did," the Olympic gold medalist captioned his own before-and-after Thursday slideshow.
