"The Notebook," one of the most beloved romantic movies of all time, turns 15 today.

The film, based on the 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks, starring Ryan Gosling as Noah and Rachel McAdams as Allie, was a monster success in the box office, grossing over $115 million.

The on-screen relationship depicted between Allie and Noah still melts hearts today, and inspires viewers to chase love at all costs.

Fifteen years later, we're reflecting on some of our favorite parts of the film.

The scene in which Allie and Noah reunite after so many years apart is forever cemented as one of the best movie kisses in history.
