Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee reveal baby's sex in sweet reveal video
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and fiancée Brittany Matthews had the most adorable reactions when they found out the sex of their child.
The two, who posted the happy news on Wednesday, threw a sweet reveal party filled with pastel balloons and a light-up sign that read, "Boy or Girl?"
Instead of cutting into a pink or blue cake or using colorful smoke, Mahomes and Matthews tasked their dogs Silver and Steele to step into some pet-safe paint and walk toward them down a long line of white paper.
When the high school sweethearts turned around to see the pups leaving behind pink paw prints, smiles exploded onto their faces and Matthews even jumped around in excitement.
Mahomes and Matthews, both 25, wrapped their celebration by firing off two confetti cannons. The video ends as the two look up while strips of pink paper rain down on their grinning faces.
Matthews, a fitness trainer, wrote when sharing the video to her Instagram, "P.s- Yes, my dogs walked down a runway with pink paws for the reveal."
Her soon-to-be husband showed up in the comment section, proudly declaring that he's about to be a "#GirlDad."
Due to COVID-19, the couple wasn't able to celebrate the good news with friends and family members in person, so they opted to broadcast their announcement on a large Zoom call.
