— -- Pink is sounding off about Sunday's American Music Awards and the "newly created riff" between herself and Christina Aguilera that she says is only being perpetuated to keep women apart.

During Aguilera's Whitney Houston tribute, the camera panned to Pink and commenters on the internet ran with the idea that she was judging the singer by the face she was making.

Late Sunday, Pink, born Alecia Moore, took to social media to say she was only making a face because "I am in awe of Christina’s talent.”

Pink expanded on that sentiment Monday night, this time in frustration, saying she was "waking up to see a newly created riff between myself and another incredible woman, Christina, who took on an incredible feat, who I support fully, makes me so sad."

"You all perpetuate keeping women apart b/c you're afraid of the power we have when we get together," she wrote. "I choose to remember last night as being a celebration of women, of Diana, of Whitney, of love and life and joy and all things good. THANKYOU to everyone that had the courage to take that stage- wether [sic] it be right side up or sideways. All love."

Pink and Aguilera did have minor beef back in their early days in the 2000s, but in October, Pink said they had made up years after Aguilera "had swung on me at a club."

"We made up on 'The Voice' ... I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years, and we grew up, we became moms," she said on "Watch What Happens Live" last year.

Aguilera has yet to tweet about Sunday night, aside from sharing pictures of her performance.
