Robert Irwin stole the show as "Dancing with the Stars" kicked off its 34th season Tuesday night.

The wildlife conservationist jumped off of a car for his premiere dance -- a jive -- which he pulled off in his signature khaki pants and alongside his pro partner Witney Carson.

The duo danced, naturally, to none other than Steppenwolf's 1968 classic “Born to Be Wild” and Irwin even performed another jump over Carson as they dazzled the live audience.

Judge Derek Hough called the performance "probably the best first dance I’ve ever seen on this show."

Afterward, Carson praised Irwin's moves.

"He did incredible, like I am so proud," Carson said.

But Irwin credited Carson for their stunning success.

"Every success on the dance floor is her fault," Irwin said.
