Sandra Bullock is passing the "Practical Magic" baton to one of her new cast members through fashion.

The actress, who reprises her role as Sally Owens in "Practical Magic 2," shared a sweet post on Friday from the film's press tour with her new co-star, Maisie Williams, who plays her daughter, Antonia, in the film.

The post featured photos of Williams wearing some of Bullock's looks she wore on past carpets.

"As soon as @maisie_williams and I started talking about working together, I knew I wanted to pay homage to her film mother, who has epitomised the rebellious energy of the 1990s that Maisie oozes with herself," Bonačić began.

He went on to say that after doing some research, Bullock's two-piece custom Ellie Misner gown that she wore to the "Forces of Nature" premiere in Los Angeles in 1999 was one look that stood out the most to him.

Bonačić said that he wanted the gown to align with the fashion of today so he worked with Misner again to slightly alter the look to include a corset and a wrap skirt with a train.

A second dress that Williams appeared to borrow from Bullock's closet was a black gown that she wore to the premiere of "Infamous" premiere in 2006. The dress includes an off-the-shoulder design and an exposed back.

The final dress that he took inspiration from was a Collette Dinnigan layered slip dress, which Bullock wore in the first film.

His own spin on the look was a Paul Smith floral dress layered over a classic slip, he shared in an Instagram story.

"Thank you so much @sandrabullock for being so open to this storyline and not suing for copyright infringement," he joked in another post on his Instagram story alongside a photo of Bullock and Williams.

"Practical Magic 2" will see Bullock return alongside Nicole Kidman as Sally and Gillian Owens, respectively. According to a synopsis for the film, the duo will have to "confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once and for all."

Also returning are Stockard Channing as Aunt Frances and Dianne Wiest as Aunt Jet.

When asked at the European premiere of the film about how it feels to return to the world of the Owens sisters, Bullock said in an interview for Warner Bros. that it feels "oddly natural."

She also lauded the new generation of actors that the sequel is welcoming.

"Extraordinary actors, different enough to make it interesting like Nic (Kidman) and myself, but just so prepared for it," she said. "They were absolutely prepared for it. We didn't have to tell them anything, we're like, 'Go, you guys got this.' And it was a pleasure to work opposite them because they gave you so much, they're extraordinary."

"Practical Magic 2" arrives in theaters on Sept. 11, 2026.
