Taylor Swift graced the cover of Vogue's iconic September issue this year, and opened up to the publication about what it was like when there were social media calls to "cancel" her after a Twitter spat with Kim Kardashian West.

"Good Morning America" got an exclusive first look at Swift's Vogue cover, and her candid interview with the magazine's Abby Aguirre.

In it, Swift, 29, addresses the calls on social media to "cancel" her amidst her Twitter feud with Kim Kardashian West.

“A mass public shaming, with millions of people saying you are quote-unquote canceled, is a very isolating experience," she told Vogue, adding that not many people "can actually understand what it’s like to have millions of people hate you very loudly.”

“When you say someone is canceled, it’s not a TV show. It’s a human being," she added. "You’re sending mass amounts of messaging to this person to either shut up, disappear, or it could also be perceived as, 'Kill yourself.'"

Swift is not disappearing, however, and is out with her newest album, "Lover," on Aug. 23, which she says might be her favorite collection of music yet.

“There are so many ways in which this album feels like a new beginning," she said. "This album is really a love letter to love, in all of its maddening, passionate, exciting, enchanting, horrific, tragic, wonderful glory.”

She will perform live on "GMA" on Aug. 22 in New York City's Central Park.

She is also set to star in the upcoming film "Cats," based off of the beloved long-running musical.

She said she was mesmerized by the set, where, "They made us the size of cats by making the furniture bigger."

"It made you feel like a little kid. Or it just really made you feel like a cat," she quipped.

The September issue of Vogue hits newsstands in New York City and Los Angeles on Aug. 13 and nationwide on Aug. 20.
