The actress expanded on some things she has learned as she's grown older.

"You have enough age to see the miracle of life and enough youth to revel in that knowledge," she said. "You can be vulnerable and strong at the same time. You can forgive others and yourself."

"You know to make the most of every moment," she wrote about aging. "For me that is sharing joy & positivity, knowledge I’ve gained through experience, both successes and failures, and helping to lift others up."

She said that by sharing the photo with her followers, it was her way of "being open to others, open to life... finding glorious connection and community."

Hatcher encouraged her fan base to adopt "no filters, no makeup, no airbrushing, no negativity."

"Be strong enough to be vulnerable," she added.

The actress often shares photos and video documenting her intense training workouts and has garnered quite a fitness community on her Instagram.

In one of her most recent videos, featuring herself with a trainer, she dispensed some wellness advice for her followers.

"Find a community, stick to healthy food, get in a work out, and find your joy!" she wrote. "Baby steps, day by day, put in the work and you will see results."
