Travis Kelce opens up on Taylor Swift wedding: 'Best night of my life'
Travis Kelce is opening up about his high-profile New York City wedding to Taylor Swift earlier this summer.
"It was a fun offseason, man," Kelce said in a press conference Wednesday, following the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp practice. "Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated, and, you know, had fun with us."
"That's about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night, it was full of a lot of celebration," he added before pivoting to the upcoming NFL season.
Swift and Kelce wed in a July 3 ceremony in New York City officiated by actor and comedian Adam Sandler, a representative for Swift confirmed to ABC News at the time.
Swift's brother Austin served as her "man of honor," while Kelce's brother Jason served as his best man, according to the representative. They were the only members of the wedding party.
The two-day wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden was said to include more than 1,000 guests.
Guests included the biggest names in culture spanning music, movie, sports industries and more.
Kelce's return to training camp marks the beginning of the Chiefs tight end's 14th season in the NFL.
News of Kelce's expected return to the league first broke in March, before Kelce opened up on the decision on "The Pat McAfee Show" later.
"You always need to take a step back, breathe, let the emotions of the season settle down and see where the body is," Kelce said at the time.
"I'm still in love with this game," he added. "I still love going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out and just playing the game."
Kelce's 14th season will bolster an already extraordinary career for the tight end, who was drafted by Kansas City as the 63rd overall pick in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft.
Kelce went on to find success with the team, notching 11 straight Pro-Bowl appearances from 2015 to 2025. His career highlights include more than 13,000 receiving yards and 82 touchdowns.
