Vanessa Hudgens recently took a trip back to East High and "High School Musical" fans are gonna love this one.
The actress, who played Gabriella Montez in the Disney film series, shared a post on Sunday from the school in Salt Lake City where most of the popular 2006 movie was filmed.
She captioned her post with a quote from the film: "Do you remember in kindergarten how you'd meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you're playing like you're best friends because you didn't have to be anything but yourself?" She also set the video to the song, "Breaking Free," her duet with her former co-star, Zac Efron, from the first film.
Since the first "High School Musical" film was released in 2006, East High School has reportedly become a popular tourist spot for fans of the franchise.
Her post was flooded with support from fans loving the nostalgia of the moment.
One of her former co-stars from the film series also weighed in: "I saw this and had a PTSD like I couldn’t find my team captains LETS GO WILDCATS!! 🏀🐾" actor Bart Johnson, who played Coach Bolton in the film series, commented.
Hudgens played Gabriella in all three "High School Music" films, which were released from 2006-2008.
