Baby Kaaiva James is growing up.

In a new Instagram post, Kaavia's mom, Gabrielle Union, shared a sweet video of her 9-month-old little girl uttering her first words.

"Buh-bye," says the toddler in the video after being prompted to say the farewell phrase.

This the latest feat for the precocious infant, popularly called "Shady Baby" by her parents, Union and former NBA star Dwyane Wade.

Just last week, her proud parents shared an Instagram video of Kaavia swimming.

"Cant walk, but I can jump. Who knew," the caption reads. "This swimming thing is my jelly and my jam."
