Two new never-before-seen, custom Dunkin'-inspired Nike designs dropped on social media that sent sneakerheads straight to the comments in search of a way to get their hands (or possibly feet) on the coveted coffee-themed sneakers.

A representative for Dunkin' confirmed to "Good Morning America" that the Massachusetts-based coffee chain commissioned artists Andrew Chiou and Ant Kai to customize two styles of Nikes in tandem with the hit new Matt Damon and Ben Affleck film, "Air."

Chiou, who posted the first photos of his freshly brewed designs on Instagram, wrote that his creation for the Jordan 1 "Air Dunkin'" design was "inspired by a mixture of donuts, coffee and a couple Easter eggs."

The high-top iteration has a neutral cream and brown color scheme with light pink and orange accents that evoke the essence of Dunkin's branding. The typical "Air Jordan" logo has also been altered in his custom design to instead say "Air Dunkin'."

Kai, who also posted about the project on Instagram in a collaboration post with Chiou, explained that his mismatched "What the Dunkin'" low-top pair was inspired by the brand's donuts and coffee and thanked his friend for bringing him on board for this project.

While these one-of-a-kind Air Jordan and Dunk Low designs are not for sale to the public, Dunkin' auctioned both pairs at its Joy in Childhood Foundation Northeast Gala.

The proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the Dunkin'-supported charity that aims to "bring simple joys of childhood to kids battling hunger or illness."

Kai has been customizing shoes professionally since 2021 and he told "GMA" that ever since he met Chiou at Complexcon in Los Angeles last year, the two have been in talks to collaborate on a project.

"When this opportunity came up we knew it was the perfect time to work together," Kai explained.

"The overall process took us about a week and a half from designing, customizing, and photographing the shoes ourselves," he said. "The response from the community has been crazy, I’m just thankful for the opportunity and to be able to create and share what I do with the world."
