Thanksgiving has come and gone – but if your fridge is still stuffed with leftovers, we’ve got you covered.

Chef George Duran has ideas for Thanksgiving leftovers that aren't boring and are super easy!

His apple pie milkshake and his recipe for candied sweet potato soup are perfect for a light (and decadent) lunch.

Recipe for Leftover Apple Pie Milkshake

Leftover Apple Pie Milkshake
ABC

Serves 1

Ingredients:

1 large slice leftover apple pie
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice mix
1/2 cup whole milk
Whipped cream and cinnamon for garnish

Directions:

Place all of the ingredients except the garnish in a high-speed blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Serve with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Recipe for Candied Sweet Potato Soup

Serves 4

Ingredients:

1 cup leftover candied sweet potatoes, marshmallows removed
2 cups chicken stock
1 Tbsp. fresh thyme
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
3 Tbsp. heavy cream

Directions:

Place all ingredients except heavy cream in a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth.

Heat soup and once simmering add heavy cream. Season more to taste. Serve hot.
