Day care dogs steal the spotlight in creative Nativity scene
A dog day care in England recently re-created a Nativity scene with pups dressed in full costumes.
Cheshire Dog Lady, a home-based doggy day care in Cheshire, England, shared an Instagram reel of the furry canines in all their glory, with each representing a different character in the Christmas scene.
The crew includes Rosie, an English cocker spaniel playing the role of an angel; Maggie as Mary; Ralph as Joseph; Woody the Boston terrier as baby Jesus; Nevaeh embracing the role of king; and more.
"Not exactly a silent night… but definitely a cute one," the day care added in its caption. "Festive fun, wagging tails and plenty of mischief at Cheshire Dog Lady."
The day care recreated the adorable Nativity scene with several groups of pups, according to its Instagram page.
"A modern, inclusive retelling of the nativity -- because here at Cheshire Dog Lady, we believe everyone can play any role 🐾✨," the day care wrote in the caption of one of the videos. "Zero lines remembered, hay everywhere, and 10/10 performances from the entire cast. Standing ovation please 👏🐶🎄."
