— -- Carly Fiorina hopes people know her name now.

The former Hewlett-Packard CEO was a last-minute addition to Wednesday’s GOP debate after gaining momentum in the polls -- and she made the most of the opportunity by taking on rival Donald Trump.

Fiorina, speaking this morning with Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos, said she was pleased with the debate.

“I was very satisfied,” Fiorina said. “When I went into the debate, almost half the audience didn’t know my name, and I introduced myself successfully.”

GOP Debate: How Carly Fiorina Responded to Trump's 'Face' Comment

Fiorina swung back at Trump over his recent comments in “Rolling Stone,” saying “Look at that face!” when a camera zoomed in on Fiorina, according to the magazine. "Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!"

Carly Fiorina speaks with Good Morning America's George Stephanopoulos, Sept. 17, 2015.

"Women all over this country heard very clearly what Mr. Trump said," she said stoically.

Trump responded by saying "she’s got a beautiful face and she's a beautiful woman.”

In her interview with Stephanopoulos, Fiorina also defended her tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, saying that while stock prices dropped, she helped to save tens of thousands of jobs amid market upheaval.

“It was my job to transform a company, and I did so in a very tough time,” she said.
