 -- A Los Angeles-based actress with a large facial birthmark has released a series of stunning photographs celebrating the feature.

Born with what's called a port-wine stain, the dark red mark covers her left cheek. Paige Billiot's "Flawless Affect" project is a series of pictures taken by different photographers.

Billiot, 23, said she wants others to "celebrate their unique qualities," too.

The actress is best known for her role in the 2008 movie "Road to Hell."
