June 22, 2011— -- In our Pop News Heat Index, we're telling you what's cool, what's hot, what's now and what's next. What will everyone be talking about today? "Good Morning America" lifestyle anchor Lara Spencer tracks all the trends.

Outrageous/Inspired/Ice Cold: Adele Muted

British singer Adele has been ordered to stop talking -- and singing -- for a full month. Doctors have told the 23-year-old, known for her hit "Rolling in the Deep," to pipe down or risk doing permanent damage to her soulful, sexy voice because of a bad case of laryngitis. Adele called cancelling her U.S. tour dates "devastating."

Inspired/Fabulous/The Hotness: Nicole Richie Tweets Britney Dance-off

Nicole Richie's two million Twitter followers got to enjoy some of her fabulous footwork when she tweeted footage of herself in a dance-off with a friend, shaking it to Britney Spears' hit "I'm a Slave 4 U." "Dancing With the Stars" anyone? The mom of two knows how to work it. Watch it here.

Fabulous/Insane/Cold: Newlyweds, the Sequel?

Is it insane to televise your wedding twice? Nick Lachey doesn't think so. The former 98 Degrees front man tied the knot with ex-wife Jessica Simpson on their hit MTV reality show, "Newlyweds," and now, he and his fiancée Vanessa Minnillo have announced that their upcoming wedding will be shown in a TLC special, "Nick & Vanessa's Dream Wedding." No word on yet when the reality royal wedding will take place.

Inspired/Fabulous/Simmering: President Obama, the Baby Whisperer?

Is President Barack Obama a baby whisperer? The leader of the free world worked his magic on a munchkin a few days ago at a White House event. In the video, the first lady tries to quiet the crying baby with no luck and then hands the bawling baby to the president and presto, the tot was transfixed! As for Mrs. O, she looks shocked that the dad-in-chief hasn't lost his touch. Watch it here.
