— -- Ahead of Donald Trump’s speech on “all things Clinton,” the GOP presumptive nominee had strong words for his Democratic rival Wednesday morning, calling the campaign funds Hillary Clinton has raised "blood money" in an interview on CBS today.

“When she raises this money, every time she raises money, she's making deals...I mean, give me a break. All of the money she's raising, that's blood money,” Trump said.

Trump raised less money in May than any other candidate since Al Gore. Trump has $1.3 million in cash on hand compared to Clinton's $40 million.

Even though Trump has boasted that he's self-funding his presidential campaign, he admitted that there are perks to outside donors.

"No, it's nice to be funded. But you know when I get funded, I have to go and ask people for money," he acknowledged. "When I ask them for money, they want favors. Everybody wants favors. That’s the way it is."
