Patriots, Seahawks players talk path to Super Bowl on 'GMA'

New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez and Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba joined "Good Morning America" on Monday, just one day after the players secured their spot in the Super Bowl, where the two Texas natives will square off on Feb. 8.

"I'm gonna wake up and watch the game over again, and kinda let it just settle in but it's been a great couple hours for me," said Smith-Njigba, just hours after theSeahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams.

Smith-Njigba logged 10 catches for 153 yards against the Rams in his clutch performance to bring the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.

"For me, just chasing my ultimate goal, our ultimate goal, to win a Super Bowl ... brings the personal accolades and all this crazy stuff, and it's a honor and I appreciate all the love and things like that," he said of the attention he's received.

Gonzalez, who secured a crucial interception to lift the Patriots to the Super Bowl, said it's been "kinda crazy. Just a lot of raw emotions, a lot of hard work, a lot of dedication and it's paying off."

"It was snowing real hard," he said. "It's pretty cool honestly."

He added, "It's fun to get out there and win in a snow game."
