— -- The Republican National Committee will support Donald Trump if he wins the party's presidential nomination, said chairman Reince Priebus.

“Who the nominee is going to be is not my choice,” Priebus said in an interview Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” "We’re going to support whoever that is."

Trump overwhelmingly won the party's primary in South Carolina on Saturday, his second such victory. He has sparred with the RNC throughout his campaign and, in a separate interview on "This Week," he said he felt he was being treated "unfairly" by the committee.

While Priebus said the party is prepared to rally around a nominee, he also said the RNC will be prepared for the possibly a brokered convention in July.

“We will be prepared if that happens, but again I don’t think that’s going to be the case,” he said. “If it did then, of course, obviously it would be pretty historic, but we’ll be ready.”

Priebus added exit polls show voters are dissatisfied with both parties.

“I think people are sick and tired of politics in general, sick and tired of Washington, D.C.," he said Sunday on ABC's "This Week." "I think just sick and tired of both parties.”
