A Royal Wedding Photographer

Feb. 17, 2010— -- Most of us aren't expecting royal wedding invitations through the mail, so we'll have to rely on film crews and photographers to capture the big day.

Now, the problem with moving images is in their very definition: They move. And fast. Generally speaking, the images that stay put in our minds are those caught on camera.

So, it's of utmost importance that Kate and Will should have the creme de la creme of photographers on April 29.

And they've chosen society photographer Hugo Burnand, the London Evening Standard reported Wednesday.

Burnand's former subjects include Bill Clinton and ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, who is at the head of the queue of British designers offering to make Kate's wedding dress.

Furthermore, Burnand's no stranger to royal snapping. Just a few years ago, he took the official photo of Prince Charles, pictured above, to mark his 60th birthday.

And he was the official photographer for the wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla Parker Bowles in 2005.

We have yet to receive confirmation from the palace on Burnand's appointment but should it prove true, then perhaps we have an answer to what Kate and Camilla were discussing at lunch last week.
