— -- The San Francisco home that was thrust into the spotlight when it was used as the exterior shot for “Full House” and its Netflix reboot, “Fuller House,” has sold for $4 million.

The home, seen on screen as the home of the fictional Tanner family, was placed on the market earlier this year for $4.15 million.

The home’s listing agent, Edward Deleski of Vanguard Properties, confirmed the sale in an email to ABC News but declined to offer further details.

The Victorian home, located on Broderick Street, was described in its listing as a “rare piece of San Francisco history.” The home became a fan destination after it was seen every week in the opening theme song of “Full House" and then again years later in "Fuller House” on Netflix.

“I’ve had little kids ask me if I’ve seen John Stamos,” one of the home's neighbors, Mary Risley, told “GMA” in April, referring to the star who plays Uncle Jesse. “I’ve had people ask me if it’s a museum."

The home’s iconic front door is now a different shade than the red seen on “Full House.” The property was described on the listing as “sophisticated, comfortable, and timeless” and contains three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.
