— -- Model Ashley Graham continues to break down body-image barriers, one photo shoot at a time.

The plus-size model made history last year after she appeared as the first plus-size model in an ad for Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. This year, she will be one of the stars.

Graham, 28, confirmed that she will be featured in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue on Instagram.

The photo shows Graham posing in a purple bikini on the beach.

"It's official - I'm a @si_swimsuit model!! This is a dream come true," Graham captioned her Instagram photo.

"Thank you to everyone who stood up for curves - our voices were heard," she continued, adding the hashtag #beautybeyondsize.

"It's been so surreal and so amazing," Graham said in the video.
