Celebrate 'Golden Girls Day' with ultimate treats for your girl squad

ABC Studios has named July 30 "Golden Girls Day"! The date coincides with National Cheesecake Day, which fans of the hit show will know was the fabulous four's favorite dessert.

If you happen to be in Coconut Grove, Florida, today, in the "Golden Girls" stomping grounds, ABC Studios and PopSugar are celebrating with an exclusive one-day-only “The Golden Girls” pop-up event at Vicky's House from noon to 10 p.m.

You can join in on the fun by using the hashtag #GoldenGirlsDay and #NationalCheesecakeDay on social platforms.

But what better way to celebrate than with a sweet treat!?

We got the recipe for the 'Stay Golden' milkshake that will be served at the pop up today and it sounds delicious.

Stay Golden Milkshake
Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
• 1/3 cup whole milk
• 1 tablespoon cream cheese frosting
• 2 tablespoons Golden Grahams cereal
• 1 mini cheesecake
• 1 tablespoon Graham Cracker crust topping
• Whipped cream
• Caramel
• Strawberries

Instructions:

1. Spread a tablespoon of cream cheese frosting around the rim of a large glass.
2. Press 2 tablespoons Golden Grahams cereal onto the cream cheese frosting until the rim is evenly coated. Set aside.
3. In a blender combine ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth.
4. Pour milkshake into prepared glass.
5. Top with whipped cream, Graham Cracker crust crumbles, caramel, mini cheesecake and strawberries.
6. Serve with straw, sip and enjoy!
