Meg Stalter and Jenna Lyons might make an unexpected pairing, but the duo's new campaign with shoe brand Vivaia, "Re:Work," will have you laughing as they work together to bring style and comfort to the forefront of footwear.

In a 90-second skit (which you can watch on YouTube), Lyons is seen working on the brand's latest high heel alongside Vivaia's Creative Director, the dashing Alan Buanne, when Stalter busts through the office door with a proposal to make everyone happy.

"GMA" caught up with Buanne at last night's launch party for the new campaign and got the full scoop on this campaign's inspiration.

"We're living in a time where there's an epidemic of toxic work culture. People are stressed at work," Buanne said. "Colleagues, bosses, HR -- the whole situation. We took something that people could resonate with which is work, and we looked at it from a comedic angle, which explains why we have Meg Stalter and Jenna Lyons as our ambassadors for the campaign. They're basically at war, feuding in an office environment with one fighting for comfort and one fighting for style until eventually they both merge ... which couldn't be more true for the way we operate internally!"

By the short's end, the two reach a happy medium between comfort and style, something Vivaia strives for with each shoe. While browsing the latest releases, one style stood out: A velvet ankle boot with a gorgeous, abstract pattern.

"This one we've developed ourselves because traditionally, velvet has quite a high hair length so it can look shiny and a little bit plastic," Buanne explained. "What we wanted to do was take recycled material and have a velvet that was shaved really, really close and low so it's quite compact and more of a matte finish and it reads more like a suede. It's a velvet, but it's a little more elevated and refined."

The design, he said, came from the overarching theme pertaining to "the other side of nature" and looking at things from a different perspective.

"Nature is usually perceived in full bloom with the sun shining and very feminine," he told us. "I looked at the transition into winter when all the trees fall off the branch, and the embroidery represents the aberrations of the tree branch when there's no leaves or color on it."

Another standout we think will resonate with "GMA" readers is the classic, simple and incredibly lightweight Nylon Travel Loafers seen on both Stalter and Lyons at the end of the video.

We also love how the brand incorporated that gorgeous velvet, tree branch inspired pattern into a sneaker found in Lyons' edit. A supportive dot matrix sole and foldable build make them ideal for the woman who wants comfort without sacrificing high design.

"Life's too short to wear bad shoes," Buanne exclaimed, pointing out the epidemic of footwear that's either ugly or uncomfortable when he's so dedicated to making sure his designs are both. "It's 2026, and I'm actually shocked at the amount of bad shoes that are out there!"
