“Self-care is a very important part of motherhood. In order to be the best role models for our children and always be the best versions of ourselves, as moms, we need to prioritize self-care,” lifestyle influencer and mom-of-four Shannon Doherty told “Good Morning America.”
Doherty said she wakes up before everyone else in her household to have a little "me time" in the morning, which often includes a workout.
"If you are a mom, you are active! Working out not only has physical benefits but I also believe it helps us mentally," Doherty added.
