Ariel Winter reveals new strawberry blonde hair as 'Modern Family' ends
"Modern Family" star Ariel Winter just showed off a major hair color transformation that fans are loving.
"Bye bye dark hair," she wrote in a caption alongside a video showing off her deep brunette strands. "I don't think I'll miss you."
Many people took notice and left comments curious to see what color Winter would be revealing.
On Wednesday, the 22-year-old actress followed with the results of her surprise new hair hue. She confidently posed with a bright strawberry blonde tousled look.
"I'm a strawberry and a shortcake sooooo new nickname?" Winter wrote in her Instagram post showing off the new look.
Los Angeles-based hair colorist Tabitha Dueñas of Nine Zero One salon is responsible for Winter's fresh color and claims it took up seven hours for the transformation to take place.
"With Modern Family's long run ending, Ariel is finally free to have the hair color she wants," Dueñas said in a statement. "She wanted to strip out the black and go back to her strawberry golden blonde look we had done previously when she was on break from filming. She said she never wants to go back to black again."
This actually isn't the first time we have seen Winter with a red-esque hair color.
Earlier in the month, she posted a photo with the same hair color saying, "can't wait to get back to this hair color.
In 2018, Winter also rocked a fun platinum blonde wig as she dressed up as Pamela Anderson for Halloween.
