Gucci and Disney launch high-end fashion line celebrating 'Year of the Rat'
On Jan. 25 we will embark on a new lunar New Year according to the traditional Chinese calendar.
With that, many brands are celebrating the "Year of The Rat" with cool new collaborations and Disney has joined forces with Gucci to join in on the fun.
Gucci's "Year of the Mouse" collection features Disney's biggest star: Mickey Mouse. It also includes a wide variety of trendy clothing, outerwear, accessories, shoes and more.
Gucci photographed campaign images for new Disney x Gucci collection at Disneyland and posted photos on Instagram.
A few standout pieces include a pair of ivory leather women's Ace sneakers, the Grip watch and an exclusive GG Marmont small shoulder bag that can be reserved for pre-order at $2,490.
This actually isn't the first time Disney has partnered with the luxury fashion label. During Gucci's spring 2019 runway show, onlookers marveled at a $4,500 3-D printed Mickey Mouse bag sighting.
The new collaborative collection was created under the direction of Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele and is available online and in stores.
