Hilary Duff shows off blue hair look ahead of baby's arrival

Hilary Duff is capturing the attention of many with her brand new blue hair.

The actress showed off a head full of wavy blue strands and a few videos of her dye process on Instagram, where she also told fans that as soon as she returned to New York, she needed a change.

The "Younger" star, who is gearing up for the arrival of her third child soon, also thanked her hairstylists Riawna Capri and Nikki Lee for agreeing to work with her to achieve the look during this late stage in her pregnancy.

Duff also warned fans that her blue hair doesn't mean she's having a boy. "My mom thought I was trying to tell everyone something," she said.

She continued, "We still don't know who's occupying my apartment- but it's getting the eviction notice soon-ish."

Since posting, Duff's blue hair reveal has gained the likes of more than 780,000 people with comments from celebrities such as Mancy Moore saying, "You're the coolest, lady."

Capri also chimed in, saying, "At least you didn't cut bangs OR GO BROWN (again!) love you so so so much and I'm happy to spend the whole day and do it all over again, like, if you happen to have girl!? do we go pink!??? love you to the moon backkkk!!!"

Duff has been tight-lipped about the gender of her upcoming baby, but she is already a mother to a 2-year-old daughter, Banks Violet, and a 8-year-old son, Luca Cruz.

This isn't the first time Duff stunned fans with blue hair. Last year, in April, she also popped up with the same vibrant hue.

While she generally sticks with blonde hair, it looks like blue might be a color she will continue to come back to.
