Liu originally released \"Don't\" in April, sharing the meaning behind the song in an Instagram post.

\"This song was written for all of the hard times in my life where I have questioned my worth and felt like an imposter. It is for every single person who has ever felt alone, different, heartbroken or hopeless. You are worthy. You belong. You MATTER,\" he wrote at the time, calling it \"the experience of a lifetime.\"

Liu can currently be seen on the big screen in Greta Gerwig's \"Barbie\" alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
