\"My dad and I have had our challenges over the years,\" she wrote at the time, according to E! News. \"Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus teased her new music on Instagram.

\"Secrets out Friday,\" she captioned the post.

After Miley Cyrus shared a snippet of the song on Tuesday, her father also took to Instagram, writing, \"Secrets out Friday!!!! Can't wait for everyone to hear the whole song.\"

He added, \"It's amazing!!!!\"

In a follow-up post on Wednesday, Miley Cyrus also announced that the deluxe version of her album \"Something Beautiful\" would be released Friday as well. \"Secrets\" appears on the deluxe album.

This summer, Miley Cyrus dropped her critically acclaimed visual album \"Something Beautiful,\" in which she embodies various roles -- a showgirl, a '60s European film star and more.
