The \"Future Nostalgia\" artist confirmed her engagement to the \"Eternity\" actor in an interview with British Vogue for its July 2025 issue. 

\"It's very exciting,\" she said, adding that she was \"obsessed\" with her ring. 

Lipa said they were first introduced at a London restaurant and then ran into each other a year later in Los Angeles, where they discovered they were both reading the same book: \"Trust,\" by Hernán Díaz. The musician said it was \"one thousand per cent\" a sign the English couple were destined to be together.

When asked about what she wanted in a wedding, she said, \"I've never been someone who's really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden I'm like: 'Oh, what would I wear?'\"

Lipa noted the emotional power of their decision to get married.

\"This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don't know, be best friends forever -- it's a really special feeling,\" she said.
