Along with some of the Glee-inspired influences on the album, Michele also wanted to bring out her Broadway roots in the album. She said fans will also be excited to hear about some exciting guest appearances and original songs on the album.

Michele's life has been busy as of late -- she's toured extensively since 2017 and recently got married.

The \"Glee\" star also partnered with T.J.Maxx for its \"Maxx You Project\" to speak about navigating phases of change and transitions in life, which she says is an opportunity to come together as women to support one another.

The project has an interactive pop-up called \"The Changing Room\" in New York City that showcases different women's stories of change from all walks of life. \"We’re inviting women to come and everyone can share their stories of change and embracing your individuality,\" Michele added, urging people to come celebrate personal growth.

The singer said that, like everyone else, she's undergone many periods of change in her own life. One of the biggest moments for her?

\"When I left New York City and I moved to Los Angeles -- I went from living here for most of my life, moving to Los Angeles and starting 'Glee', which was the biggest surprise of my life,\" she shared. \"It was an incredible surprise, but no one could’ve prepared me for it.\"

\"Embracing my individuality is really what helped me succeed in getting that role,\" she added.

She said that the key to adapting well to change is being open to the unexpected.

\"You can be as prepared as you possibly can, you can work as hard as you can, but then be open to the surprises that life will bring your way,\" she shared.

\"I had a goal for myself – I was going to move to LA and I was going to try and maybe get a small part in TV, but then this big thing came my way -- that I would’ve never ever expected,\" she continued. \"When it came, it was scary, but I embraced it and I approached it with open arms and as much courage I could possibly have.\"

She said the best advice she could give would be to just \"do your best.\"

\"We work so hard as women and we set these amazing goals for ourselves, but also there’s an unpredictability that life has,\" she said. \"You have to be ready to roll with the ebbs and flows of life.\"
