Phillippe's father is actor Ryan Phillippe, who Witherspoon was married to from 1999 to 2007.

The mother-daughter duo appeared in the February issue of Vogue with Witherspoon's mother Betty, 70, in a beach photo shoot.

In 2018, Witherspoon spoke to PEOPLE about her close relationship with her daughter. \"There is nothing like the love I have for my daughter,” she said. \"We share every emotion with each other, our hopes, and dreams.\"
