How to cut bangs

Step 1: Use spray bottle to wet clean hair all over.

Step 2: Use a comb to create a middle part, and comb hair straight down.

Step 3: Create two small triangles on both sides of your middle part toward your forehead. Tuck the rest of your hair behind your ears and gather in a scrunchie.

Step 4: Comb two triangle-like sections together toward the front of your head.

Step 5: Gather your center strands between your index and center strands. Eyeball how much you want to cut and bring your fingers there.

Step 6: Still holding center strands with your index and middle finger, cut straight across underneath your fingers.

Step 7: Split hair back down the middle and cut each on an angle from short to long.

Step 8: Bring sections back together to clean up any undesired unevenness.

Step 9: Create middle part again and make two bigger triangular sections on each side just past your eyebrow.

Step 10: Cut each section on an angle from short to long. Tip: If you prefer to use a razor, hold section and slither strands downward.

Step 11: Comb both sections together again and clean up any unevenness with your scissors. Tip: Cut an an upward motion rather than straight across.

Step 12: Split hair back down the middle. If you have medium textured hair like Atkin, use thinning shears to slightly nibble at ends.

For those with fine hair, cut blunt lines. If you have medium-textured hair, take a little bit of weight out. If you have really thick hair, you should take a lot of weight out.

Since posting, Atkins' video has received over 500,000 views, with many people thanking her for the demonstrations.

At the end of Atkin's how-to video, clip she lets fans know a \"Part 2\" is on the way.
