Mindy Kaling will co-write 'Legally Blonde 3'

Witherspoon, 44, first confirmed that \"Legally Blonde 3\" was in the making in 2018, in an interview with a Deadline. During the talk, she said the film would embody \"Woods' idealism and pink-dominant wardrobe.\"
Last year, Witherspoon told Entertainment Tonight that the movie had been written, but nothing had been shot.
Now, Deadline has confirmed that Kaling and Goor will pen a script with \"an entirely new fresh spin.\"
\"She's a very beloved character,\" Witherspoon told ET of Elle Woods. \"You just want her to go on a hero's journey, like she does in the first movie, and I'm having a great time working on it.\"
