Perry performed \"Daisies\" for the “GMA” Summer Concert Series in May.

During her appearance, the singer said the new track is about \"going after your dreams and not caring about what anyone thinks about that or if they're too big.\"

She also told fans to expect her upcoming album, out Aug. 14, to be \"full of songs of empowerment and resilience and joy.\"
