Shanahan starts by pulling the parchment paper out of the box and using the sharp edge to cut it. She begins by wrestling to cut it, as most of us do, and creating a very jagged line in the paper.

Then, she shows us the hack. If you tuck the opening of the box inside you can use it to create a more straight and even line when ripping your parchment paper while also making the process much quicker.

\"Did anyone else know that?\" Shanahan asks her followers.

Several users commented on the hack, one joking, \"I'm convinced my phone heard me struggling to rip parchment paper two hours ago.\"
