Nash said she understands people who have opposing views about her past marriages to men and her present marriage with a woman.

\"What I say to that is I am everything you thought I was I just lay my head somewhere else. I can still act. I can host,\" the \"Masked Singer\" host continued.

Nash also shares that her three adult children met Betts prior to them dating, though her mother, Margaret, is still learning to be \"understanding\" of her new relationship.

\"A lot of people have said at the beginning Niecy Nash has finally come out and I said, 'Well come out of where?' Because I wasn't in anywhere,\" clarified the 50-year-old. \"I wasn't living a sexually repressed life. I loved the boys that I was with when I was with them and now this is who I love.\"

This is Nash's third marriage. She was married to engineer Jay Tucker from 2011 to 2019 and pastor Don Nash from 1994 to 2007.
