\"Now, less than a year later and armed with a vaccine that is safe, effective and widely available, we are able to bring back one of our city's most iconic summer music festivals,\" the statement continued. \"I want to thank the Lollapalooza team for working closely with the City to create a reopening strategy that prioritizes safety and can’t wait to see festivalgoers return to Grant Park this summer.\"

Attendees must receive full COVID-19 vaccination or obtain a negative COVID-19 test result to attend the festival, according to a press release.

If you are not fully vaccinated, you must obtain a negative COVID-19 test result within 24 hours of attending the festival. Lollapalooza said it will release more details on entering the festival in early July.

The 2021 lineup will be announced Wednesday, May 19, at 11 a.m. ET.
