The 56-year-old actress also shared three photos -- two of her daughter's big night and a throwback photo.

The first photo shows a smiling Shields and Rowan embracing while the second depicts the teen posing in the ruby red dress. Rowan accessorized her prom look with a black bag, a corsage with canary yellow roses, a gold pendant and a ring on each finger.

The final photo is of Shields wearing the red gown and its matching shawl while walking the red carpet at the 1998 Globes, where she was nominated for best actress in a musical or comedy TV Series. It was her second nomination stemming from her sitcom \"Suddenly Susan.\"

Shields shares daughters Rowan and Grier Hammond, 15, with husband Chris Henchy.
