Willow Smith also shared her mother's new buzz cut with her social media followers along with a sweet message.

\"A gift is pure when it is given from the heart to the right person at the right time and at the right place, and when we expect nothing in return,\" the singer captioned the photo.

While Pinkett Smith has worn shorter haircuts for most of her career, this is one of the closest cuts she's publicly worn.

Earlier this year, Pinkett Smith launched her eco-conscious Hey Human personal care brand that includes a variety of vegan, cruelty-free products.

The brand debuted with a body wash, lotion, deodorant and two kinds of toothpaste exclusively available at Target.
