Shields included in her post a few photos of herself and Grier recently, as well as some adorable throwback photos -- and even a video -- of the mother-daughter duo throughout the years.

Shields shares both Grier and her eldest daughter Rowan Henchy, 19, with longtime husband Chris Henchy, whom she married in 2001.

In a recent interview with \"Good Morning America,\" Shields opened up about Grier following in her footsteps and entering the modeling industry.

The mother of two said her daughter's career choice was something she had to \"come around\" to, explaining, \"The most interesting thing to me is that they won't let her do anything until she's 18, so when I heard that, that was sort of a revelation to me, I was happy about that.\"

While she admitted there are \"many more protections for these girls\" in today's modeling industry, Shields said she still feels it's a \"devastating business.\"
