\"Taxi,\" a sitcom about a group of New York City taxi drivers and their dispatcher at the fictional Sunshine Cab Company, lasted for more than 100 episodes across five seasons between September 1978 and June 1983. The show aired on ABC until it moved to NBC for its final season.

In addition to Hirsch, Danza, Lloyd and Kane, the show also starred Jeff Conaway, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, Andy Kaufman and Randall Carver.

Of the four actors pictured in the mini reunion, all earned Emmys for their work on \"Taxi,\" save for Danza. In total, the series earned 18 Emmys.
