Celeb Trainer Anna Kaiser Reveals Her Top Workout Tips

ByABC NEWS
October 20, 2014, 11:59 AM

— -- Celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser has helped her A-list clients like Sofia Vergara, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Ripa stay in the best shape of their lives.

But now she’s giving our “Good Morning America” viewers a free personal training session live on our website, helping us kick off our new series called “Workout While You Watch.” It’s our first-ever, 30-minute livestream workout that you can do right along with us from the comfort of your own home.

No longer are abs of steel, chiseled, toned arms and legs and a rock-solid derriere just for the rich and famous.

Take a look at Kaiser’s extra workout tips to keep you in A-list shape:

Use your environment to your advantage: Run on the beach, swim in the pool, hike in the mountains. Maybe you live on an amazing lake. Kayak it! Spend 15 or 30 minutes exploring your own city or town.

Constantly switch things up for your body: The video streaming series I created includes individual installments for mat, resistance band, physio ball and power yoga.

You may not have time to do a 30-minute workout all at once: One of the major ways you can combat staying active on the go is to instead do three 10-minute workouts throughout the day.

Allow yourself one cheat day per week: Do your best to work out the morning of your cheat day because that is when your metabolism soars: Your body needs calories at that point, so it’s a good time to cheat!

As with any exercise routine, if you have any concerns about starting a workout regime, check with your health care professional to see whether it’s right you.
