Target reveals early Black Friday sales and weeklong 'Holiday Best' deals

Holiday shopping season has come early, and Target is joining in on the fun with some good news.

The mass retailer has revealed early Black Friday sales, as well as weeklong "Holiday Best," deals kicking off on Oct. 31.

The discounts will be available to shop in stores as well as online. You also can take advantage of the retailer's same-day order pickup or drive-up services.

"We know many of our guests are looking to shop early this season, and that value is incredibly important to them, especially during this time of year," Christina Hennington, Target executive vice president and chief growth officer, said in a statement. "That's why we're introducing our week-long Holiday Best deals, giving guests confidence they're getting great value, and making the deals available online and in stores so guests can shop however is most convenient for them."

What's 'Holiday Best?'

When an item is marked as "Holiday Best," Target is confirming that this is the best-planned price and deal you can get on that item for the season.

If a product does happen to go lower later in the season, the retailer will honor the lower price through its new holiday price match guarantee program through Dec. 24 -- and the same goes for select competitors' pricing within 14 days of purchase.

In another added bonus, every Sunday starting on Oct. 31, the company said it will reveal a fresh crop of week-long "Holiday Best" deals on electronics, beauty, toys, apparel and more.
